Eric Bjerkholt, MBA

Eric Bjerk­holt is the Chief Finan­cial Offi­cer of Mirum Phar­ma­ceu­ti­cals. He has over 30 years of finan­cial and oper­a­tional lead­er­ship expe­ri­ence in the life sci­ences indus­try, with exper­tise in cor­po­rate finance, strate­gic plan­ning, and investor relations.

Pri­or to Mirum, Eric served as CFO at Chi­nook Ther­a­peu­tics, over­see­ing finan­cial report­ing, bud­get­ing, investor rela­tions, and inter­nal con­trols until its acqui­si­tion by Novar­tis. Before Chi­nook, he was CFO at Aim­mune Ther­a­peu­tics, where he played a key role in the company’s acqui­si­tion by Nestlé Health Sci­ence. He also held senior finan­cial lead­er­ship roles at Sune­sis Phar­ma­ceu­ti­cals, Intra­Bi­otics Phar­ma­ceu­ti­cals, Life­Spring Nutri­tion, and Age Wave. Before tran­si­tion­ing to indus­try, Eric spent near­ly a decade in health­care invest­ment bank­ing at J.P. Morgan.

Eric serves on the boards of Cal­ciMed­ica, Cerus Cor­po­ra­tion, and Sur­rozen. He holds an MBA from Har­vard Busi­ness School and a Cand.oecon degree from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Oslo in Norway.
