Dr. Takeshi­ta served on the fac­ul­ty in Hema­tol­ogy at Yale Uni­ver­si­ty School of Med­i­cine and New York Uni­ver­si­ty School of Med­i­cine. He com­plet­ed his MD at Yale Uni­ver­si­ty and post-doc­tor­al train­ing at Yale and the Uni­ver­si­ty of Tokyo.
