Most recent­ly, Matt was Gen­er­al Coun­sel and Cor­po­rate Sec­re­tary of Mus­tang Bio, Inc., a pub­lic clin­i­cal-stage gene and cell ther­a­py com­pa­ny. Pri­or to Mus­tang, he was Senior Direc­tor at Sanofi, man­ag­ing strate­gic alliances across a broad spec­trum of busi­ness­es includ­ing bio­log­ics and biosim­i­lars, gene ther­a­pies, con­sumer health­care prod­ucts, and ​“smart” devices. Matt also served in var­i­ous lead­er­ship roles in sup­port of glob­al oper­a­tions and key col­lab­o­ra­tions while serv­ing as Senior Coun­sel dur­ing his tenure of 14 years at Amgen.

Matt received his law degree from the Uni­ver­si­ty of South­ern Cal­i­for­nia and is a mem­ber of the Bar in Cal­i­for­nia and Massachusetts.
