Simren Delaney

As VP of Legal, Sim­ren over­sees cor­po­rate gov­er­nance, con­tract nego­ti­a­tions, IP port­fo­lio man­age­ment, and pro­vides sup­port dur­ing investor and part­ner­ship dis­cus­sions. As Chief of Staff, Sim­ren helps imple­ment the over­all strat­e­gy of the com­pa­ny as devel­oped by the greater Exec­u­tive Team.

Before join­ing Metageno­mi, Sim­ren was an asso­ciate at Wil­son Son­si­ni Goodrich & Rosati (WSGR), where she served as a mem­ber of the patents and inno­va­tions prac­tice focus­ing on patent coun­sel­ing, draft­ing, patent pros­e­cu­tion, and due dili­gence for clients in the life sci­ences field. Sim­ren holds a Ph.D. in Organ­ic Chem­istry from Deakin Uni­ver­si­ty in Aus­tralia and a Mas­ters Degree in law from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Cal­i­for­nia Hastings.
